Welcome to our new Communications Committee members!  Liam MacPherson, Ciera Ballmer, McKenzie Jackson and Felicia Moy joined Steffi Farrey. This team is dedicated to:

1) Figuring out what information our members need (especially new members and families)

2) Using the best sharing strategy possible to get the information out there

3) Working as a team to create interesting and appealing messages so that the Rock County 4-H program shares, collaborates and celebrates 4-H for our clubs and those in the community who don’t know about 4-H yet, but might just love it.

At the November meeting, participants decided that although the committee increased, it would still really benefit from more youth voice.  We worked on a message brainstorm for some select audiences, and before the next meeting, the team will be working on messages and graphics to share. The group had a short conversation about what has been working in our communications so far and what questions the office has. Keep thinking about these questions. Ask around at your club or with your family. We will discuss this more in depth in December.
