October Cloverpatch 4-H Newsletter

Thank you, again, to all Rock County 4-H adult and youth who attended the Junior/Senior Council meeting in September.  It was exciting to both observe and be a part of such teamwork. A key point made at the September meeting was that communication is not a job for one individual, volunteer or staff, alone. For those of you who were not in attendance, the strategies Rock County 4-H will use to communicate as well as the roles and responsibilities of those involved will continue to evolve in the upcoming months as we find the shared program culture that can contribute to our community learning experience.  As a result, we would like to focus your attention on the following:

  • On pg. 1 of the October Cloverpatch 4-H Newsletter , information is included regarding event/announcement submissions.
  • The Cloverpatch will consist of what is submitted to the “Submit Information” tab on the website .In order to be included information/announcements to be shared around the county must come from 4-H youth and adults, and the office will serve in a coordinating capacity.
  • Announcements/deadlines  compiled into an easily downloadable print format. For the time being, this printable format will continue to be mailed.
  • Extension staff will provide an overview of the updated website tabs, currently under construction, and information in November.

We look forward to all the wonderful information sharing across the county as our program continues to learn from each individual club’s successes and challenges.
