Adams County Master Garden Scholarship Program

Adams County Master Gardener Volunteers give out $500.00 scholarships to assist and encourage post-secondary educational endeavors to qualified applicants.


  • Must be an Adams County Resident
  • Acceptance in a qualified institution of higher learning
  • Have a 2.5-grade point average
  • Pursue a career in one of the fields below, or a similar field

Qualifying courses may include:

  • Agricultural and applied economics
  • Agricultural education
  • Agronomy, soil management, and crop production
  • Botany
  • Entomology
  • Forest Science
  • Horticulture landscape architecture
  • Plant pathology soil science
  • Wildlife ecology

These applications are available on the website, from guidance counselors, agri-science instructors, and the Adams County Extension office.  Scholarship Application
