UW Center for Agricultural Safety and Health

Authorized in May 1994 by Wisconsin Act 455 to respond to the agricultural safety and health needs of the farming community, the University of Wisconsin Center for Agricultural Safety and Health is funded primarily through Cooperative Extension within the University of Wisconsin-Extension (UWEX) and is a joint effort of UWEX and the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Cheryl Skjolaas, Agricultural Safety and Health Specialist has worked in the agricultural safety and health field since December, 1990. She develops and delivers safety and health programs in cooperation with the UW Cooperative Extension network of county based agents and educator.
