The Natural Resources Board has approved the Beaver Management Plan which identifies six main issues or goals, followed by information about beaver biology, ecological impacts, economic considerations, history, population status, habitat management and damage management. Originally scheduled to be reviewed by the Natural Resources Board at the September meeting, the draft 2015-2025 Beaver Management Plan is now scheduled for discussion and review at the October 28 meeting to be held at the State Natural Resources building in Madison. The main item of discussion for our May meeting, the draft plan, is not quite ready, so the May 17 meeting is postponed until July.  The date will be posted here when the date is selected.
