Are you currently working for Cooperative Extension and helping get local and regional foods into school meals? Are you helping develop and implement school gardens? Are facilitating other fun hands-on local and regional food and farm-based educational events such as local food cooking demonstrations or field trips with students to local farms?
If so, we need to hear from you! The USDA Farm to School Program in partnership with eXtension and its community of practice in community local and regional food systems is developing a monthly webinar series to share Extension professionals’ experiences and learn best practices for supporting farm to school.
If you are interested in presenting your work to other Extension colleagues and farm to school program partners, contact Matt Benson with the USDA Farm to School Program at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send Matt your full name, follow-up contact information (i.e., email and phone), information about your program area (e.g., 4-H, Agriculture & Natural Resources, Community Development, Family & Consumer Sciences etc.) and a brief description of your work and involvement in farm to school. Potential volunteers will be contacted shortly about presenting as part of this exciting webinar series.
