Wisconsin Public Radio highlighted a recent report from Forward Analytics on employment, pay, and education in Wisconsin. The report covers 2012 to 2018 and is sponsored by the Wisconsin Counties Association. The analysis showed jobs requiring a bachelors degree or associates degree grew almost 12 percent from 2012 to 2018. Those that require only a high school diploma or less grew 6 percent or less. Overall, the kinds of jobs that have been growing in the last six years demand more education and often pay more.
Wisconsin Public Radio also highlighted efforts underway in Richland County, WI to support families interested in saving for higher education and connecting with additional resources. Read the WPR report here.
