Eye exposure to chemicals results in rapid absorption of chemicals into your body and cause physical injury to the eye itself. The most common way for chemicals to come in contact with your eyes is during tasks where spills and splashed occur.
In the video Eye Exposure to Chemicals (English & Spanish), UW-Extension Brown County Agriculture Educator Liz Binversie discusses the potential risks to chemicals and eye exposure, how to protect yourself from eye exposure, and what to do in the event one has been exposed to chemicals via the eye. Other videos in the Agricultural Chemical Safety Series include:
- Introduction to Agricultural Chemical Safety (English & Spanish)
- Dermal Exposure to Chemicals (English & Spanish)
- Inhalation Exposure to Chemicals (English & Spanish)
