Join the Jefferson County 4-H Dairy Committee for a two-day dairy project learning event! The activities will simulate exhibiting at the County Fair. Dairy industry professionals will be present to assist youth throughout the event.
Two full days of hands-on breakout sessions, demonstrations, lunch, and mock show.
Registration:

4-H/FFA/Breed Association Dairy Project youth of all experience levels participants will be grouped according to skill level. Open to dairy youth located in Dane, Dodge, Columbia, Jefferson, Rock, and Waukesha Counties.
Parents/ leaders may accompany students during the workshop and are responsible for their youth members after 5 pm Saturday until 7:00 am Sunday.
Planning for the two-day event:
Youth are strongly encouraged to bring clean project heifers; however, there will be heifers available for youth to have an opportunity to practice washing, fitting, and showmanship techniques. Jefferson County will have a night crew available for youth to leave their heifers overnight.
