UPDATE July 29, 2020
Online 4-H Project Work Gallery
It’s time to show off your 4-H project work! The 2020 Dane County 4-H Online Project Work Gallery submission portal is open! Dane County 4-H members can share a picture of their project work and a description to be shared on the Dane County 4-H website. This is a way for our youth to share their accomplishments and reflect on what they have learned this year in 4-H. Youth can upload pictures through August.
Sign up today! We can’t get together to see each other’s projects this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t show each other what we accomplished! In this Zoom Room event, youth will have a chance to talk in small groups about their projects with other youth in Dane County 4-H. It is meant to be an informal opportunity for youth to learn from one another! Meet for 30-45 minutes on Zoom – any 4-H projects welcome and you can still show it at next year’s fair.
Send in your favorite recipe by July 31! We are making an online cookbook and hope you’ll participate. Share a delicious recipe, a picture of the finished product (optional) and a few words about why you like the recipe, just like you would at the fair.
4-H Virtual Talent Showcase
There is still time to show off your awesome talent! Prepare a video (5 minute max) of you performing your talent today and upload your video to be featured on the Dane County 4-H website! All talents welcome – sing, tell a story, play an instrument, read a poem, juggle, perform tricks on your horse… Videos will be collected through July 31 and will be highlighted on the Dane County 4-H website.
Baked Potato Challenge
Whoa…we were impressed with the potatorific creations that were uploaded! Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge. Prize information will be shared soon! Even though the official challenge has passed, you may still join in the fun by uploading a picture of your baked potato. DIrections on how to bake a great potato can be found on the link below.

Informational meetings will take place in early 2021.
