The Tractor and Machinery course certifies youth under 16 to operate tractors on public roads or work near dangerous equipment on farms. This certification allows 12 and 13 year olds to drive equipment on public roads for their parents’ farm while 14 and 15 year olds are certified to work for extended family and non-family members. Certification is obtained by successfully completing the Tractor and Farm Machinery Safety Training Course including a written and tractor driving exam.

The class will run from June 18- 20 from 8am – 2pm and the tests (driving and written) will be given on June 21 from 8am-12pm. A parent or guardian is required to attend the start of the class with their child on June 18th from 8-9am. Parents will not be needed for the remainder of the course.
