Tax Preparation List of Helpful Resources

Due to continuing concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak, we have closed the Richard Dilley Tax Center until further notice. Fortunately, the IRS and Wisconsin Department of Revenue have both extended the federal and state tax filing deadlines until July 15th, 2020. We will keep our website updated as we have more information about if and when the Richard Dilley Tax Center will reopen during this extended tax season. Until then, we have compiled a list of helpful resources for you to use during our absence.

Changes coming to your credit report

There have been many important changes to credit reports this spring, with more changes coming in fall 2018. UW-Extension’s Check Your Free Credit Report campaign can help you keep track of these changes and also make the process of ordering your free credit reports as easy as possible. Anyone can sign up to receive an email reminder from UW-Extension three times a year—on 2/2, 6/6, and 10/10.

Poverty Simulation for Madison Fire Department

On Tuesday, December 19th, Dane County UW-Extension hosted a poverty simulation for fire chiefs, new graduates, and office employees alike at Fire Station #1 in downtown Madison.
