Food Biz Networking workshop: How to Price your Product

Food business entrepreneurs are invited to a networking workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Pasture and Plenty (2433 University Ave. in Madison). 

Peter Robertson, Chief Creative Officer for Tribe 9 Foods, Founder/Owner RPs Pasta will speak about how to price your food product. When pricing a product, it is important to know the costs of producing your product as well as the price that different market segments can bear. Peter will discuss how to determine direct costs (ingredients, packaging, labor) and overhead costs (facility, equipment) in order to get a baseline for pricing your product.

Food will be available for purchase until 7:00 p.m.
