The Partners in Equity (PIE) Food Project Grant program was envisioned by the Dane County Food Council as seed money to encourage the innovative development of projects that advance equity and access in local food systems across Dane County. Individuals and organizations with smaller projects are especially encouraged to apply. The 2019 Food Grant budget is $20,000. There will be two (2) different applications and two (2) categories for the PIE Food Grant for 2019: one for funding requests up to $4,000, and the other for requests up to $2,000.
Proposals should address one or more of the following focus areas:
- Increase access to healthy food
- Ease access to land for growing food
- Address issues of food waste and recovery
