Community Supported Agriculture – CSAs – Serving Douglas County

Community supported agriculture or CSA is a local network of agriculture and food distribution as well as individuals  that support one or more local farms.  Consumers and growers share the risk and benefits of a CSA.  This works by the members paying at the beginning of the growing season for a share of the harvest.  The members receive repeated shares of food.  This may be produce, honey, eggs, dairy, meat and other products.  If the CSA does well, members receive more food than if it has a difficult year.
