Exxon ranked second on the 2010 Fortune 500 list with sales of $284.6 billion, but ranked first in profits with net income of $19.3 billion. Wal-Mart was #1 on the Fortune 500 list of American’s largest corporations with revenues of $408 billion, but third in profits with earnings of $14.6 billion.
