Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

The Division of Extension has adopted Zoom as our primary platform for collaboration and remote learning. As a Division within the University of Wisconsin-Madison our faculty and staff also have access to other tools supported by UW DoIT including Blackboard Collaborate.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact. Collaborate Ultra opens right in your browser, so you don’t have to install any software to join a session.

DoIT has created a One Stop Shop for everything Blackboard Collaborate Ultra-related. Resources are organized by role and interest, you can find specific documents to help you out with everything from a product overview to step-by-step getting started instructions.
