Make a Yogurt Parfait with your child and have them practice their skills!
Preschool-age children could:
- Find words on a recipe that start with a certain letter. They may be able to read or sound out some words.
- Learn new words.
- Count the number of pieces of fruit going into the parfaits.
Older children could:
- Read and follow recipe directions.
- Determine how much of each ingredient in a recipe to add if the recipe is doubled or cut in half.
