Fall 2009, Wisconsin adopted a new law setting restrictions on local regulation of wind turbines and directing the Public Service Commission to enact uniform standards for local wind turbine siting ordinances. These rules are expected to go into effect November 2010. Find out the wind turbine standards your local government can and cannot establish and enforce.
