This program is an overview of the fundamentals of good site design which is key to creating communities that are visually appealing and function well. Through the review of site plans, local governments can insure that new development occurs in ways that are appropriate for the site, specifically addressing issues such as enhancing open spaces, transportation connections, circulation of pedestrians, and stormwater management.

Significant changes in the law related to the Implements of Husbandry and Agricultural Commercial Motor Vehicles (Ioh/Ag CMV) were passed in April 2015. As a result, local government officials need to make key decisions related to options for these agricultural vehicles by November 30, 2015. This presentation will cover the permit process, timeline, and vehicle considerations.
