Brown County UW-Extension will again be hosting in-person listening sessions for three Land Use, Planning and Zoning teleconferences this spring. All listening sessions will be held in the Nicolet Conference Room at De Pere’s City Hall, a relatively central location with free parking. Sessions are FREE to attend if you attend in-person. To register on your own and access remotely is $20 per session. Attendance to these sessions provides continuing education credit for AICP, CM, and CLE accreditation.

Cooperative Boundary Agreements

Business Improvement Districts and Main Streets

Wisconsin communities have utilized Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) to help fund programs and activities to support downtown development for over 30 years. Program participants will have an opportunity to learn about how these districts are created and administered as well as some of the important lessons that have been learned over three decades of experience.
