A one-day Equine Educational program for horse owners will be offered on Feb. 11, 2012 in Bristol, WI. This program focuses on horse nutrition and is organized and sponsored by Illinois and Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Services.
Examples of some of the session topics include general horse nutrition, managing manure, feeding vitamins and minerals to horses, managing hay, balancing rations.
Speakers include Kevin Kline, Equine Specialist with Illinois Extension, Liv Sandberg, University of Wisconsin-Extension Equine Specialist, Craig Sandmeir, Equine Nutrition Specialist.
The program is from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Lunch is included with the program fees, which are $30 per person or $50 for two people and $15 per youth. Early bird registration ends on Feb. 3 and registration fees increase after that date.
