DESCRIPTION:
First in a series on water quality trading and adaptive management, this webinar provided an overview of the water quality trading and adaptive management programs, and compared these options to highlight the benefits of each program. Discussion focused on how to evaluate the feasibility of these options, and how they can be used to gain WPDES permit compliance.  By the end of the webinar, participants:

  • Understood the differences between trading and adaptive management.
  • Understood how to evaluate whether or not these programs are viable compliance options for permitted point source dischargers.
