Evaluation and Program Development Specialist
I am a Program Development and Evaluation Specialist in the Office of Program Support Services. In this role, I support evaluation and program development for the Positive Youth Development and Community Development Institutes. I also collaborate with a team of PSS Evaluators on Extension-wide evaluation needs, including efforts to build evaluation capacity among all Extension colleagues.
I began working with Extension in 2016 as the Evaluation Specialist for UW Extension’s FoodWIse Program. In that role, I led evaluation SNAP-Ed programs and provided evaluation training and technical assistance for FoodWise Coordinators and Educators. My professional background includes statewide leadership on K-12 Education programs including community learning centers, service learning, and character education. I also have multiple years of experience evaluating Non-Profit sector programs. I have a Ph.D. in Civil Society and Community Research from UW Madison and I was a US Peace Corps Volunteer, AmeriCorps VISTA member, and US Fulbright Fellow.
