University of Wisconsin Small Ruminant Webinar Series starts January 15, 2020

The University of Wisconsin Animal Sciences Department and the Division of Extension will be hosting a small ruminant webinar series beginning on January 15, 2020. The program will start at 7:30 p.m. and end by 9 p.m. These meetings can be taken from your home using a computer, a phone, or at your local extension office using Zoom technology. Check with your extension office if they plan to host. Zoom meetings allow for more natural interaction between the presenters and participants and provide

2020 State 4-H Meats Judging Contest Info Now Available

4-H Meats Judging Contest What:  This contest test the knowledge of youth in placement of carcass and retail cut classes, carcass grading, retail cut identification and a quiz. This contest occurs annually with the teams traveling to Kansas City, MO and Denver, CO for national competition.  There is a Junior Division as well at the state level. When:  Saturday, April 25, 2020, Registration 8:30 am  – Contest begins at 9 am sharp! Where:  UW Madison, Meat Lab- 1805 Linden Drive, Madis
