How to become a Mentor

You must attend a 2 hour mentor training before working with 4-H Tech Wizards

4-H Youth Development Assistant will give information on how to be a mentor and resources for youth protection.

The paperwork

We will give you forms that you will need to fill out and return to the 4-H Youth Development Assistant before your first night volunteering. This will include…

• Mentor registration
• Volunteer agreement
• Background check packet – anyone working with youth through a 4-H program must have their background check; this will be done at no cost to you.
