While many issues are the same for all older adults and those who care for them, some unique considerations arise for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people dealing with aging.  Provided by Family Caregiving Alliance, this fact sheet published in 2011, is an introduction to the stressors LGBT caregivers face with fewer protections for their families.  It explains the LGBT-discrimination-specific challenges that aging these individuals face as they seek care.
