Here are a few reminders and updates for the Market Livestock Program:
- The Ear Tag Distribution for Swine, Sheep, and Meat Goat projects is postponed.
- We will let you know as soon as the new date and time are set.
- The Self-ID for Swine, Sheep, and Meat Goat deadline is also postponed.
- The new deadline will be announced with the Ear Tag Distribution announcement.
- The Attendance Record is updated as of April 19, 2021.
- Visit https://fyi.extension.wisc.edu/fdlmeat/educational-requirements/ and scroll down to Attendance Record.
- To qualify for the Fond du Lac County Market Livestock Sale must earn 8 educational points through meetings or webinars.
- After the completion of an activity, submit your information through the Google form at http://bit.ly/fdllivestockpoints.
- Most ID numbers were updated for this year.
- If you do not know your ID number, please email Katie Gindt at katie.gindt@wisc.edu.
- All exhibitors are required to be YQCA trained and certified.
- YQCA training is available online at http://yqca.org
- YQCA will count as 2 points once the certificate of completion is emailed to Katie Gindt at katie.gindt@wisc.edu.
