Price Increase and Shipping Changes for Printed Manuals

Shipping Changes for Printed Material

For many years the UW PAT Program has absorbed the cost of shipping as part of the price of the training materials. In the past few years, this cost has increased substantially. In the near future the PAT program will be offering a choice in shipping when purchasing printed manuals through the PAT Store.

When ordering printed materials, you will be able to choose the shipping method, and the cost as below.

  • One shipping option will be USPS Media Mail. This will be the default shipping choice. Manuals shipped this way can take 2 to 8 business days for delivery. Free. No additional charge charge when choosing this option.
  • Another shipping option will be USPS Priority Mail: Manuals shipped this way can take 2 to 3 business days for delivery. There is an extra charge if you select this option. The charge will be calculated in the store when you check out.
  • Orders placed by mail order (not through the online PAT store) will automatically be shipped using the free USPS Media Mail (2-8 days) service.

Orders are processed by hand, and it can take an additional 2-3 days for the order to be packaged before being shipped in the busy season (typically January through May).

Planning ahead is important! Try to order your manuals with time enough to study, or at the very least, arrive before your certification exam. Do not schedule your exam until you have your training materials! Manuals will not be available for sale at training / review sessions.

Price Increase for Training Fees with Printed Books

Due to increased printing and operating costs, on January 1, 2024 prices for training fees with printed manuals will increase by $3.00. Commercial applicator training fees with printed manuals will be $53; Private applicator training fees with printed manuals will be $43.

There will not be any price increase on training fees with PDF manuals or online courses.
