DHS Open Data Portal and WISH
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Open Data Portal provides an extensive list of data related to health and behavior including: birth and death rates, life expectancy, illness, insurance, public health, lead, mental health, and substance use. Most data is available at the State level with some data available at the County level.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also hosts a searchable database of health indicators known as the Wisconsin Interactive Statistics on Health (WISH) Query System. The following topics are included: behavioral risk factors, births, cancer, injury-related health outcomes, mortality, opioids, population, and violent death.
