The theme of this year’s conference, “Cover Crops and Agricultural Resiliency,” features a mix of general sessions and bus tours highlighting successful cover crop practitioners using a variety of cropping systems in Southeast Wisconsin. The cost is $30, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a bus tour.

The USDA SARE program is currently funded at $22.7 million per year nationally, and since 1988, has funded over $6 million to Wisconsin. Currently, there are open calls for SARE proposals for
