The Department of Natural Resources, with tremendous help from Riveredge Nature Center, has embarked on a project to restore Lake Sturgeon to the Milwaukee River. Since 2006, the DNR has partnered with Riveredge to operate a streamside rearing facility to annually stock 1,500 lake sturgeon back into the river.  Join Brad Eggold, from the WI DNR, to learn more about this highly successful program; this talk will center on those efforts plus exciting information from our Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan sturgeon assessments.
