The Wild Ones annual Native Plant Gardening seminar will take place November 8th at Cardinal Stritch University in Glendale & Fox Point. Heather Venhaus will lead off with Landscape Solutions: Upcycling Our Urban Ecosystems. She advocates planning the whole project , whether an addition, a single home, or a multiple-building development before work begins to streamline the work & assure minimal ecological damage & maximum eco-friendly outcomes consistent with intended uses. It includes many factors, including native plant landscaping according to recently published qualifications for LEED points.
Break-out sessions by new & popular returning speakers will interest both beginners & experienced gardeners, & guarantee fun for all.
