Top Producer in Wisconsin

In 2007, Wisconsin ranked ninth nationally in the total market value of agricultural products sold. Wisconsin’s agricultural producers sold $2.6 billion worth of crops (such as grain, vegetables, fruit, and tobacco) and $6.3 billion of livestock and their products (such as cattle, hogs, milk, eggs).

According to the 2007 Census of Agriculture, Dane County was 1st in the state with $470 million in agricultural products sold. Grant County ranked 2nd with $330 million and Clark County 3rd with $252 million in agricultural products sold.
