We are excited to share that Leadership Waupaca County has teamed up with Green County Leaders to offer something fresh and new this year. It’s called “Civil Leadership for Vibrant Communities”.
Leaders who lead and foster civil conversations and welcome diverse perspectives make better decisions. That’s particularly important now, when communities, nonprofits, and businesses are making decisions in a historically unique time of transition. These sessions will be facilitated by the nationwide nonprofit Braver Angels and will provide an engaging way to learn and lean into civil leadership to build vibrant communities.
In addition to these sessions, Leadership Waupaca County participants will get much of the flavor of a typical LWC program year.
We’ll cover things like:
- Real Colors personality styles
- Emotional intelligence
- Goal & action planning
- Local, county & state government
On top of that, participants will have the chance to grow their local networks AND meet people in similar leadership programs across the state!
Most of the nine sessions will run from 9:00AM-2:00PM and will primarily be virtual (that is how Braver Angels runs their workshops), with the possibility of some in-person networking opportunities and sessions. The sessions will occur once a month from September-May.
Take a look at the brochure for more details. Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested.
