The Wisconsin Risk and Reach Project

Risk and Reach Project

The Wisconsin Risk and Reach Project includes a dashboard designed to assess potential gaps between publicly funded programs and community risks—especially as they relate to children and families. The risk factors addressed by the project include economic insecurity, health and safety, and education. The programs include 4K, Head Start, FoodShare, and childcare access, among others. This project is one of a suite of tools and resources from the Applied Population Lab (APL) designed to help educators and others learn about state and local demographics.
