Headwaters Economics is a nonprofit research group focusing on community development and land management. Offered here are a number of tools designed to assess various types of risk at the county or community level. The socio-economic profile tool generates targeted pdf reports looking at demographics, populations at risk, trends, and key indicators. Two functions unique to this resource are land management reports, looking at public and private lands and the populations in their proximity, and reports on industries, including employment and industry trends, investments, income, and wages.
