Alumni Association

Please join us in helping support Waushara County 4-H! 

Meetings are held the third Tuesday during the months of January, April, July and October at 7 pm at St. Mark’s in Redgranite.  For additional information contact Linda Pomplun at 920-987-5997.

The purpose of the Waushara County 4-H Alumni Association is to

  • Support the ongoing Waushara County 4-H Program
  • Be an advocate for 4-H with local government, the community, schools, parents and other supporters
  • Help develop financial support of new and innovative 4-H programs
  • Develop fellowship links with other people interested in 4-H
  • Develop communication via letter or newsletter distributed to membership at least 2 times a year

Who Can Become a Member?

Membership is open to former 4-H members, past or present 4-H parents, 4-H leaders, or any person interested in supporting the 4-H program.

Membership is NOT limited to former Waushara County members, parents or leaders.  So if you were a 4-H family in another county, we encourage you to become involved in the Waushara County 4-H Alumni Association and share your experiences with us!

Why an Alumni Association?

The alumni association was started in the hopes that it can be an opportunity for alumni to continue communications, and keep members updated on current alumni news and information about the Waushara County 4-H program.

The alumni association is hoping to become involved in a variety of activities.  A few of these activities include county fair promotions, community activities and any other 4-H programs.

Scholarships

Project Scholarship

The Waushara County 4-H Alumni Association provides project scholarships each year.  This is an awesome opportunity for you to get money to assist you with one of your 4-H projects.  You can apply to receive up to $50 in scholarship money for one or more projects.  You need to supply receipts for the project expenses and exhibit the project at the fair in order to receive the project scholarship.   The scholarship application deadline is indicated on the form.

Alumni Scholarship

Waushara County 4-H members and alumni  enrolled in an institution of post high-school education at the time of application can apply for a $100 scholarship for post secondary education.
