Cattle Reputation’s Influence on Value

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association recently forwarded information gathered by a recent survey conducted by CattleFax regarding the benefits received from incorporating BQA objectives. Ethan Oberst reported these findings in his article, “Reputation Cattle Bring More” in the Mid-March 2018 issue of CattleFax. As Oberst states, “…a solid reputation for the animals that an operation sells, as well as the reputation of the operation itself does play a role in the price received for calves.”  The article can be read at this link:Reputation Cattle Bring More
