Come and join us as we welcome Deschutes Brewery, from Bend, Oregon, to Wisconsin. Deschutes is now distributing beer in Wisconsin and they are partnering with us to do a river cleanup and “Welcome to Wisconsin” party to kick off their new venture!
The cleanup take place at Meaux Park along Lincoln Creek and will last from 10-12 and will be followed with a free lunch to thank all of the volunteers catere
CHICAGO — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today issued a Request for Applications soliciting proposals from states, municipalities, tribes, universities and nonprofit organizations for Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grants to fund new projects to restore and protect the Great Lakes. Up to $27.5 million will be available during the current funding cycle. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis for projects in the Great Lakes basin. Applications are due August 25, 2014.
