Scientist says Saratoga solar project is safe for residents, environment

SARATOGA – The Wood County Solar Project expected to be completed in 2022 doesn’t present any health or safety concerns, a consultant hired by the town told residents Wednesday evening.

“If I had to have a facility in my backyard, I would say an industrial solar facility is better than a lot of other uses,” said Kent Syverson, of Syverson GeoConsulting.
