Register for Elevando Leadership Development

Returning for its third year, Elevando Wisconsin is a culturally relevant leadership development program within the UW–Madison Division of Extension designed to empower and connect Latinx and Spanish-speaking leaders in every community across Wisconsin. The program was co-created by Latinx leaders across Wisconsin to help participants develop and expand their professional networks while serving their communities. Sessions occur simultaneously in English and Spanish, and live interpretation ensures all participants are able to learn from and with one another.

All eight sessions are free and online Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting April 4, 2023. The program will conclude with an in-person celebration in June. Topics for this year include defining your leadership journey, building your network as a leader, keeping cultures alive and understanding yourself and others for improved communication.

Register now for Elevando Wisconsin 2023, as registration closes on March 7. There is no cost to this program, and anyone with a passion for leading or helping in their community is welcome to join. If you are in need of assistance in working with your employer to attend these sessions, please email elevandowi@extension.wisc.edu
