The Social Explorer, available with a UW NetID login, allows the user to access and map an extensive list of demographic, socioeconomic, health, environmental, business, and election data sets. Most are available at the State and County level, with a few available at the Census Tract level. The mapping platform includes a tool to compare two datasets on the same map. The Social Explorer Profiles tool generates an extremely detailed dashboard of data for the user’s choice of State, County, Place, Metropolitan Statistical Area, or ZIP code. The profile includes tabs for demographics, education, economics, households, and housing.
