Shawano County is currently accepting applications for a 4-H Youth Development Summer LTE. This position will run from approximately June 1st – September 1st (dates are flexible for the right candidate). Interested applicants can apply online on the Shawano County website.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the supervision and delivery of 4-H Day camps and residential camp programs.
• Assist in the supervision and delivery Dairy Bruch, and the Shawano County Fair.
• Contribute and deliver programs as a member of the “4-H Team.”
• Help promote 4-H through a variety of avenues (social media, print media, radio, newsletters).
• Assist in training and coordination for overnight and day camp counselors.
• Assist in the communication with and coordination of 4-H activities.
• Assist in Extension additional short-term programming as opportunities arise.
• Prepare materials and make connection to promote 4-H throughout the county.
• Develop an activities summary at the conclusion of the summer that records participation.

Work Requirements:

• One year of college.
• Experience in youth-related outreach education preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and Google Platforms.
