Carl Duley, former Buffalo County Agriculture Agent, passed away on October 4th 2023.
Arden Ray Hardie, passed away on July 14, 2022. He first served as an interim agriculture agent for Trempealeau County, then as Agriculture Educator for Rusk County (1996) and Jackson County (2000), until his retirement in 2007. Arden was a lifetime member of WACAA.
Rudolph Thomas (Tom) Geimer, former Kewaunee County Agriculture Agent, passed away on Jul 26th 2021.
Robert Adami Luening passed away on March 27, 2019. Bob served as the Racine County Farm Management Agent for the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension for 6 years. In 1969, Bob and his wife, Dottie, moved to Madison, where Bob was affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Agricultural & Applied Economics Department, with major responsibilities in farm management and teaching in the Farm and Industry Short Course program. He retired from the University in 1988.
Danny Robert Short passed away on November 17th, 2020. Dan spent his entire career working for the University of Wisconsin Extension Service, primarily for Dodge County as the Livestock Specialist and farm financial analyst.
Gale VandeBerg passed away on November 16th 2020. In 1945, he was invited by the UW to join the Cooperative Extension Service (CES) as a UW-Extension agent for Outagamie County. He served there as a 4-H and agricultural agent until 1954.
Rudy Van Fleet passed away on January 19th 2019. Rudy spent 26 years with the University of Wisconsin Extension as a farm management agent in Columbia County.
Joe L. Walker passed away on December 31st 2018. Joe served as the 4-H Agent in Outagamie County for two years. Joe and his wife, Helen, then moved to Waupaca, where Joe began working as a County Agricultural Agent.
Wayne Clifford Schroeder passed away on October 26, 2017. Wayne began working as a 4-H agent in Richland County then spent the majority of his career in Portage County as the 4-H Youth and Development Agent.
Ray Polzin passed away on February 23, 2018. Ray spent 36 years as an Agriculture Agents in Clark, Sauk, and then 29 years in Douglas County.
Calvin “Cal” E. Kraemer passed away on April 16, 2018. For six years, he worked as the 4H Agent for Green County. He moved to Chippewa Falls in 1968, where he worked as the Agricultural Agent for Chippewa County until his retirement in 1990.
Mahlon J. Peterson passed away on January 14th 2018. He started with Cooperative Extension on July 1, 1987 and retired January 4, 2013. Mahlon served as the Agriculture Agent in Eau Claire County.
