Whitespace draws your visitors’ eyes where you want them looking, improves readability, makes your website look clean and modern, and prevents people from getting overwhelmed by too much information. Unfortunately, it often goes overlooked.
In this Guided Build Session, Chrissy will show you how adjusting white space can drastically improve the design of your page. We’ll go over how to use spacer blocks and how to adjust padding and margin on individual blocks. We’ll also discuss the basics of when and where to use whitespace.
Follow Along
In this session, you will be working on a training site using the block editor and the Discovery theme to adjust the spacing between and around blocks.
Your existing site does not yet need to be on the block editor to attend, but some familiarity with the block editor would be helpful experience before building along with us.
