Parenting is easier when you can connect with friends, neighbors, family members and other adults. Identify and stay connected with people that can support your parenting responsibilities.

Be an eParent®! Add the email addresses and phone numbers of people that support you and/or your child to your cell phone contact list. Teachers, coaches, doctors, other parents, and your friends or family members could all make the list.

Navigating school transitions and community resources can be challenging for both teens and parents. Calling other parents or community members who have a different perspective can make it easier to figure out how to help your child transition to a new school or to find an after-school group that fits your teen’s special interests or needs. Your relationship with your teen is strengthened when you can connect with others in your community to support your parenting needs.
