We received word that George Koepp, former Columbia County agriculture educator recently passed away.
A note from the agriculture institute director:
“I’m sad to inform you of George Koepp’s passing. For those that had the opportunity to work with George, you understand what I mean when I say that he lit up every room. He had a kind heart and brought humor to every conversation. I’m grateful that George chose to spend his ‘second career’ with us in Extension. I’m sure many of us will forever remember the time we spent laughing with George and learning from him as an educator. His farmers and colleagues had deep respect for his work and the impact that he had on their lives. He will be greatly missed!”
