Extension Dane County: Nonprofit Peer Learning Program

YWCA Madison, Amplify Madison
Amplify Madison’s goal is to build skill, voice, and visibility for all people that identify as women, including trans women and in particular women of color working in the Madison region’s thriving local community organizations. This goal is pursued by supporting women in identifying professional development experiences that invite collaboration with other women and a share of the new knowledge and skills gained in the professional development experience(s) by hosting community engagement session(s). Teams can apply for up to $7500 to support their professional development journey and community engagement efforts. Due to the global health situation Amplify Madison will support participation in virtual experiences.
gALPHA Social Impact
In collaboration with the American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, gener8tor is running gALPHA Social Impact, a free four-week online program focused on addressing equity in education and criminal justice reform. The goal of the program is to work on capacity building to execute social impact initiatives. Beginning at kickoff and continuing each week of the program, gener8tor staff meet one-on-one with participants 2x per week to whiteboard social impact issues and solutions, conduct market research, set goals around execution and teach how to validate a design with beneficiaries/customers.
