A target audience is a segment of the population that has a specific opportunity to take action on the problem you have identified. The target audience may also be a segment of the population that is specifically affected by the problem you have identified.
Target Audience Database
The target audience database is a tool for identifying research-based findings about specific audiences of interest to water scientists and managers. Findings are derived from research papers describing studies that could claim to identify best education practices (BEPs) for specific audiences.
Once you’ve identified the types of findings you are looking for, you can refine your search using one of several parameters: audience, theme (outreach techniques or strategies employed), or best education practices.
